Dragged into Turbolasers 130: Impressions of the new Warhammer 40k Space Orks
We talk with our friend Brad about the newly revealed Warhammer 40k 11th edition ork models. We discuss how ork design has changed during the last few decades and our hopes for the future.
Good episode, very enjoyable. I agree with most of your views, I think. I am glad the orks have a less pronounced "gorilla" physique these days but the other aspect I don'tr really like since 1998/99 is that all orks are now Gorkamorka orks (ie they all have the scrapyard aesthetic). Of course I cannot help but be slightly pleased the new 40K box is a re-hash of 2nd edition, though I can't say I plan to get the primaris marines... I also really enjoyed the Armageddon Campaign from 1999 (I think), maybe nostalgia for that will draw me in again to some extent.
