Trench Crusade: Terrain by Redwetskeleton

A Life Entombed.

Recently, we commissioned Redwetskeleton to create a Trench Crusade Communicant. It is a stunningly grotesque model that fits perfectly in the horrific setting. In addition to having him create the Communicant, we asked if he could also create a few pieces of terrain to accompany the miniature. He ended up building a small board’s worth of terrain pieces, which I wanted to showcase here.

He created a series of earthworks strewn with tank traps and razor wire.

He created a few patches of scorched and barren trees.

Here is a massive shrine encrusted with candles and steepled with breaking wheels and makeshift crosses.

The Communicant mounts the crest of a devastated hill, festooned with broken planks of battered wood amongst the charred earth.

We are really happy with the terrain pieces Eli created to accompany the Communicant. We are excited for him to create additional models to populate the muddy wasteland he built. It really portrays a somber mood that will be perfect for taking photos and playing Trench Crusade!
