The diminutive greenskins are spelling trouble...
Starting with the Red Gobbo, I began converting Rebel Grot models to build a mob for future games. When creating a mold for the Red Gobbo, I also made one for a classic Rebel Grot model holding two revolvers. Having made some copies of the model, I decided it was time to convert one of them, modifying their pistols to be of a more reasonable size!

Similar to my recent Red Gobbo conversion, I focused primarily on modifying the weapons on the original Brian Nelson sculpt.

I modified the shell casings on the model's bandolier, adding bullets on the front of each of the shells.
To tie up the model with a nice base, I tried to create a wasteland look by adding shards of rock created with modeling putty and a selection of scrap. I am very happy with how the model turned out and am looking forward to working with more rebel grots. The future is getting greener by the day!

Great conversion - a big improvement on the already excellent model.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love the Rebel Grot models. It has been great to finally do something with them!
Deletethe small bullet sticking out of the ground is a great touch. Realy looking forward to more Gorkamorka posts, as I am about to dust off my old copy and start going through it myself!
