A silicone mold for our Thorn Moon defenders.

This episode is centered around how to create a two part silicone mold for resin casting. We start by discussing why we learned how to make molds in the first place, before talking about the basic principles involved. We then talk at length about various ways to improve your molds and resin casts, focusing on methods to reduce bubbles.

  1. Excellent as always! Definitely handy to hear what is considered necessary vs luxury. I plan on getting started making casts sometime this year and this has answered a lot of questions, very helpful information. Keep up the excellent work!

  2. This is excellent. Very useful and thanks for doing this. I still want to get into casting myself... it's just a matter of when time and money will allow it but it will happen! Mainly for terrain making purposes for me.
