The AdMech Dominus is probably the best single mini that came out this year, with the Vanguard/Rangers being the best kit.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09044964303812409560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-52349660184452913672016-01-04T05:35:50.961-08:002016-01-04T05:35:50.961-08:00I think we all get caught up in criticising them a...I think we all get caught up in criticising them and it means we can miss when they do things right, I think all of the clampack character models have been amazing, real top of the field stuff, especially when you consider the volume they're putting out, they're not making a run of 200, you're looking at tens of thousands at least! Helps you remember exactly why they're the biggest company.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00942026055176482571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-11028039843555343412016-01-01T23:37:38.116-08:002016-01-01T23:37:38.116-08:00For me, after a bunch of thought, I'm going to...For me, after a bunch of thought, I'm going to go for the 45 Highlander Regiment by Corvus Belli for Infinity. The Responsible Onehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10377870574546599439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-76661580117155112232016-01-01T07:27:24.513-08:002016-01-01T07:27:24.513-08:00Yeah, it is easy to criticize GW for all sorts of ...Yeah, it is easy to criticize GW for all sorts of things, but ever since Brian Nelson introduced the clampack single pose character model, GW has released some of its most characterful models ever. Some might argue that they are not multipart for ease of converting, but I think they look better for it.Eric Wierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01276836738624222147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-51645084914221813402016-01-01T07:22:52.112-08:002016-01-01T07:22:52.112-08:00Thanks! I agree that...Thanks! All the best to you in 2016!

I agree that GW has not released an entire army as impressive as the Ad Mech, since Jes completely redesigned the Dark Eldar some 6 years ago (has it really been that long?!). It certainly will be interesting to see where GW goes from here, and if they can outdo themselves again. The same could be said for a lot of the Mierce Miniatures releases this year. They may be massively delayed on fulfilment, but some of their stuff has been beautiful.

All the best to you and yours at this time of year lads.
